The correlation relationship among the year which students attend a lab and the hand they use for writing. Biology 2050 Lab-1

Two variables were chosen to measure. There were 15 participants in the study, which were students attending a laboratory session for Ecology course.The first variable was the hand which students use for writing and the second variable was the year which they were currently at, in undergraduate studies. The first variable was measured based on categorical approach, as the participants could either be left handed, right handed or used both hands. Moreover, the second variable was measured in a continuous manner, as they could be at any year from 1st and so forth. The data were inserted into an excel file for analysis.The hypothesis is the lower in year a student is in regard to undergraduate study, the higher are the chances of that student being right handed.

本研究选定两项变量开展测量。本次研究共纳入15名参与者，均为选修生态学课程实验课的本科生。第一项变量为学生的书写用手习惯，第二项变量为其当前就读的本科年级。第一项变量采用分类变量测量方式，参与者可被划分为左利手、右利手或双利手三类；第二项变量则采用连续变量测量方式，本科生就读年级可覆盖大一及之后的任意年级。所有数据均录入Excel文件以用于后续分析。本研究提出的假设为：本科生的就读年级越低，其为右利手的概率越高。
