Ustilago Bromivora X Ustilago Hordei Hybridome

The goal of this study was to create a hybrid fungus by mating the closely-related Ustilago bromivora and Ustilago hordei. The hybrid was then backcrossed with Ustilago hordei to create multiple strains having different Ustilago bromivora genome content.
