Displacement data for microtissue experiments performed for the manuscript "Estimation of active tension in cardiac microtissues by solving aPDE-constrained optimization problem".
The data set contains displacement data for two experiments, recorded at control (no drugs) and subject to incremental doses (10 µM, 100 µM, 1000 µM) of omecamtiv mecarbil and Bay K8644. Each dose contains recording of displacement in each point, for an representative average beat. The data set also contains the meshes used in the optimization.
The data can be used as input for inverse estimation of active tension using the software published here: https://zenodo.org/records/14720917
Original image recordings not published in full due to restrictions on publishing commercial data, as well as to keep the data set reasonably small.
