Antarctic microbial mat

The objective of this study is to describe the microbial diversity at the Archaea, Bacteria and Eukaryalevels in a sample of microbial mat from the Fildes Peninsula (King George Island), usingindependent culture methods and to reveal their microscopic structure, composition and somemetabolic activities.

本研究旨在采用独立培养方法，解析取自乔治王岛（King George Island）菲尔德斯半岛（Fildes Peninsula）的微生物垫（microbial mat）样本中，古菌（Archaea）、细菌（Bacteria）与真核生物（Eukaryota）三个类群水平的微生物多样性，并揭示其微观结构、组成及部分代谢活性。
