资源简介:

This was a piggyback effort in conjunction with the USGS. In 1993, the USGS detonated four shots to calibrate the seismic network near Cape Mendocino, CA. Stanford and the USGS deployed a refraction experiment to utilize these sound sources. The primary objective was to determine recording conditions in this geologically complex region. A total of 60 3-component PASSCAL instruments and 140 single component SGRs were deployed along a 140 km line. The nominal spacing is 1 km with the 3-component instruments interleaved at 0.5 km intervals along the central 40 km of the line.
