Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0402 (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0402 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Christopher Measures). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Bathymetry, Meteorological, Conductivity, Temperature, Navigation, Fluorescence, Infrared Radiation, and Visible Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Plankton Community Structure and Iron Distribution in the Southern Drake Passage, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT02-30445.

本数据集采集自2004年执行的劳伦斯·M·古尔德号（Laurence M. Gould）科考航次LMG0402，首席科学家为克里斯托弗·米切尔斯（Christopher Measures）博士。本次航次搭载的观测设备包括船载Knudsen 320BR回声测深声呐（Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar）、荧光计、气象传感器、导航系统及温盐测量仪（Thermosalinograph）。所有数据文件采用JGOFS格式存储，涵盖盐度、水深测深、气象、电导率、温度、导航、荧光值、红外辐射与可见辐射等多类观测数据。本数据集由经过校准的原始数据以1分钟间隔降采样处理得到，部分字段为基于多组原始输入数据推导生成的衍生测量值。本次数据采集作为“南德雷克海峡浮游生物群落结构与铁分布”研究项目的一部分实施，资助方为美国国家科学基金会（NSF），项目编号为ANT02-30445。
