Spatial explicit estimates of carbon stocks in the coastal blue carbon ecosystems across China

For the first time, we present spatially explicit estimates of soil organic carbon stocks (SOCS), aboveground and belowground living biomass carbon stocks (AGBC and BGBC) in BCEs across China, using data-driven methods based on a total of 1,670 soil measurements of SOCS and SOC and 1,229 samples of living biomass.

本研究首次采用数据驱动方法，基于总计1670份涵盖土壤有机碳储量（soil organic carbon stocks, SOCS）与土壤有机碳（soil organic carbon, SOC）的土壤实测数据、1229份活体生物量样本，完成了中国境内BCEs生态系统的土壤有机碳储量、地上及地下活体生物量碳储量（aboveground and belowground living biomass carbon stocks, AGBC和BGBC）的空间显式估算。
