资源简介:
Data set contains light transfer measurements in Antarctic snow pack using visible-near infrared spectroradiometer and PAR sensors. These measurements were done during FINNARP 2009 expedition in December 2009 and in January 2010. Spectroradiometer measurements were done in 7 different locations (points). PAR sensors measured continuously in fixed location. With the spectroradiometer the light transfer through the snow pack was measured at the depth of 10 cm and 20cm. The snow properties were also measured and the vertical resolution for these measurements was 10cm. These include temperature, density, grain size and shape, stratigraphy and water content measurements. Detailed description of the snow measurements can be found under keyword FINNARP2009_snowpit in this database. The visible-near IR spectroradiometer used is made by Edmund optics (model: NT58-657). The spectral range of the instrument is 350-1050 nm. See specs in the following address http://www.edmundoptics.com/onlinecatalog/displayproduct.cfm?productid=2704 PAR sensor measurements were stationary near the Finnish Research Station Aboa in the Dronning Maud Land. These measurements were continuous covering a time spawn from beginning of December 2009 to end of January 2010. The PAR sensors were put to different levels in the snow pack. These sensors measure Photosynthetically Active Radiation in spectral range of 400-700 nm.
