It covers the entire clinical workflow of bowel cancer diagnosis and treatment in England and Wales, and contains multi-dimensional real-world clinical data including diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and other aspects, with nationally representative samples. All data has been de-identified, complies with GDPR privacy regulations, and supports cross-institutional quality comparison. The 2023 release is an independent annual snapshot, which can be paired with historical dataset versions to construct a time series for analyzing trends in bowel cancer diagnosis and treatment. This dataset is widely applied in public health decision-making, quality assessment of medical institutions, medical research and medical insurance policy formulation, and supports the improvement of bowel cancer diagnosis and treatment standards.
