Experimental data used for the work “Parallel Cellular Metabolic Imaging by Merging MRI and Microfluidics for Personalised Medicine” (Title in works). In this work, we use hyperpolarised 13C nuclear magnetic resonance combined with MRI spectroscopic imaging to parallelise metabolic imaging. Here, we present the first platform for the task combining microfluidic devices. First, we validated the platform, extended the work to assess diverse experimental conditions and then test the differences between different cell types. Then, we used the platform to analyse the effect of commercially available drugs on HepG2, expand the platform to do sequential spectroscopy of different chip regions and finally prove that the platform can also be used with 3D cell models.

本数据集为论文《面向个性化医疗的磁共振成像(MRI)与微流控技术融合并行细胞代谢成像》(工作标题)所使用的实验数据。本研究采用超极化碳13核磁共振(hyperpolarised ¹³C nuclear magnetic resonance)技术结合磁共振波谱成像(MRI spectroscopic imaging),实现代谢成像的并行化。本次研究首次提出了集成微流控器件(microfluidic devices)的该任务专属实验平台。首先,我们对该平台完成性能验证,通过拓展研究评估多样化的实验条件,随后测试不同细胞类型间的代谢差异。随后,我们利用该平台分析市售药物对HepG2细胞的作用效果,对平台进行拓展以实现微流控芯片不同区域的时序波谱分析,并最终证实该平台同样可适配三维细胞模型(3D cell models)。
