Spatial transcriptomics of adult Fasciola hepatica

To generate a transcriptomic map of adult F. hepatica, we used the 10X Genomics Visium platform and analyzed four transversal cryosections of two adult liver flukes. (12 & 14w p.i.). We investigated tissue and organ specific marker gene profiles and explored expression patterns of vaccine candidates, drug targets and drug resistance genes.

为构建成虫肝片形吸虫（Fasciola hepatica，简称F. hepatica）的转录组图谱，本研究采用10X Genomics Visium平台，对2只成虫肝片形吸虫的4份横向冰冻切片进行分析，样本采集于感染后12周与14周（12 & 14w p.i.）。本研究探究了组织与器官特异性标记基因的表达谱，并解析了候选疫苗、药物靶点及耐药基因的表达模式。
