This dataset includes trophic biomarker data for 180 bloody cockles (Senilia senilis) collected at four stations along a downstream-upstream gradient of the Sine Saloum in Senegal in April and October 2022 (before and after the monsoon season). The dataset contains the proportions of 68 fatty acids and 10 sterols obtained from the digestive glands of the cockles, as well as the carbon and nitrogen isotopic composition values obtained from their adductor muscles. Some environmental data measured during the collection process are provided, including salinity, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and chlorophyll-a concentrations. The abundances of planktonic groups, collected during sampling, are also indicated in a second table.
