We conducted a field experiment to assess microbiome shifts and resulting outcomes of banana Fusarium wilt as induced by intercropping banana with the legume Trifolium repens on. We further conducted a pot experiment to examine the impacts of the legume crop on microbiome across different spatial distances. Bacterial-, fungal-, and eukaryote-universal primers sets were used for high-throughput Illumina MiSeq sequencing.
本研究开展田间试验,以评估香蕉与豆科作物白三叶(Trifolium repens)间作诱导的微生物组(microbiome)群落变迁,以及由此引发的香蕉镰刀菌枯萎病(banana Fusarium wilt)发生状况。此外,本研究还设置盆栽试验,探究该豆科作物在不同空间距离下对微生物组的影响。实验采用细菌、真菌及真核生物通用引物(universal primers)进行高通量Illumina MiSeq测序。
