Euro-Mediterranean Tsunami Catalogue (EMTC), version 1.0

Unified catalogue of tsunamis generated in the Euro-Mediterranean area and connected seas, from 6150 BC to 2014.
The Catalogue of Euro-Mediterranean Tsunamis (EMTC), which contains 290 tsunamis, is the result of a systematic and detailed revision of the regional catalogues available in literature for the area under study, each of which has its own format and a different level of accuracy. The data and descriptions of the tsunamis included in the catalogue are the result of the analysis of about 900 bibliographic sources, including historical documents, books, scientific reports, newspapers and previously published catalogues.
The catalogue provides a detailed description of each event with photo, map, tide gauge records, etc., as well as a complete list of the bibliographic sources used.
Most of the events have a high reliability value (3="probable" and 4="certain") and this makes the Euro-Mediterranean Tsunami Catalogue (EMTC) an essential tool for estimating tsunami hazard.

该目录为每一次海啸事件提供了详实描述，包含相关照片、地图、潮位计记录等资料，并完整列出了所引用的全部文献来源。
绝大多数事件的可靠性评级较高（3级为"疑似"，4级为"确证"），这使得欧洲-地中海海啸目录（EMTC）成为海啸危险性评估不可或缺的重要工具。
