The domestic cat (Felis catus) is one of the most popular companion animals in the world. Modern cat breeds have variations in traits such as coat color, tail length, ear shape, and genetic diseases. This project analyzed the whole genome sequence and the tissue-specific transcriptome (cerebrum, cerebellum, eye, heart, lung, liver, spleen, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and kidney) from four domestic cat fetuses.

家猫（Felis catus）是全球最受欢迎的伴侣动物之一。现代家猫品种在被毛颜色、尾长、耳形以及遗传疾病等性状上存在变异。本研究对4只家猫胎儿的全基因组序列，以及大脑、小脑、眼、心脏、肺、肝脏、脾脏、胰腺、胃、小肠、大肠和肾脏这13种组织的组织特异性转录组（tissue-specific transcriptome）进行了分析。
