Shotgun metagenomic sequencing of raw sewage from Germany

We performed shotgun metagenomic sequencing of raw sewage received by selected wastewater treatment plants across Germany. The samples where primarily intended to obtain information on the abundance and diversity of antibiotic resistance genes.
