Under the Forestry Act 1916-35, Section 25, current licences or leases held from the Crown and affected by the dedication of land as a State forest, flora reserve or catchment reserve, came under the jurisdiction of the Forestry Commission and the Minister in dealing with these licenses had the powers of the Secretary for Lands.
