Total mercury (THg) CVAAS measurements for a graphitic carbon nitride DGT binding-layer study
收藏资源简介:
Total mercury (THg) measurements by CVAAS for the evaluation of graphitic carbon nitride as a DGT binding layer Authors/Creators: Dmitrii Deev (Data curator); Raghuraj Singh Chouhan (Researcher); Aleš Lapanje (Supervisor) Partner: Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) Description: This dataset contains total mercury (THg) measurements obtained by cold vapour atomic absorption spectrometry (CVAAS; Sanso Seisakusho Hg-201) in July 2024 to evaluate the performance of graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) as a binding layer in diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT). Measurements were performed across a range of mercury spike concentrations using three matrices: Milli-Q water as a reference, agarose-only DGT gel as a control, and agarose gel containing embedded few-layer g-CN nanosheets (AG–GCN composite). The dataset includes processed results for individual injections, including measured mercury concentrations and residual mercury percentages in solution, together with the raw peak-integration log, calibration parameters, and the original PicoLog instrument recording. These data support the assessment of mercury-binding efficiency reported in the associated scientific publication (DOI: 10.1016/j.hazadv.2026.101190). Detailed definitions of the dataset variables and columns are provided in the accompanying README.txt file.
