This study profiles the gut microbiota of Indian breast cancer patients and healthy controls using 16S rRNA V3-V4 amplicon sequencing. Fecal DNA from 22 breast cancer patients and 30 healthy women was analyzed to assess bacterial diversity and identify differentially abundant taxa. The dataset provides insight into breast cancer associated gut microbial alterations in an Indian population and supports future research on host microbe interactions and microbial biomarkers of disease progression. Data generated and submitted by Srinidhi Narayani Seenivasan, KMCH Research Foundation, under the supervision of Dr. Velmurugan Ganesan
