Forsythiaside A alleviates liver fibrosis by regulating gut microbiota and inhibiting inflammation

Forsythiaside A (FTA) is the main bioactive component of traditional Chinese medicine Forsythia suspensa. There is a small amount of evidence that FTA has a certain potential in the treatment of liver disease. However, little is known about the therapeutic effect and molecular mechanism of FTA on liver fibrosis. The purpose of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effect of FTA on liver fibrosis and reveal its potential therapeutic mechanism.

连翘苷A（Forsythiaside A，FTA）是传统中药连翘（Forsythia suspensa）的主要生物活性成分。现有少量研究证据表明，FTA在肝脏疾病治疗领域具备一定应用潜力。然而，目前学界对于FTA抗肝纤维化的治疗效应及其分子调控机制仍知之甚少。本研究旨在探究FTA对肝纤维化的治疗作用，并阐明其潜在的治疗机制。
