Here are the R-script and data we used for main analyses and Figures in our paper STOTEN-D-21-08485 "Contrasting life-history traits of black spruce and jack pine influence their physiological response to drought and growth recovery in northeastern boreal Canada"<br>Code for supplementary figures was not provided here, except for the PCA analysis. However, these Supplementary figures can be easily obtained by simply switching variables in statistical models and the corresponding ggplot script. <br>Only processed data is provided. If needed, raw data could be obtained upon request to william.marchand@uqat.ca (for C isotope data; raw 18O isotope data are provided as they are used for supplementary figures) and sylvie.gauthier2@canada.ca (for tree-ring data; that is part of a provincial forest inventory database).<br>Importantly, please note that a few random noise was added to plot coordinates. This was done because these plots are part of a forest inventory network, and the provincial agencies in charge of the database want to keep plot coordinates confidential.
