This Gordonia species was unexpectedly cultured from a Red Alder soil sample. Here we present the assembled and annotated genome to aid investigations into its role in Red Alder associated soil communities and comparative studies of the Genus Gordonia. In order to aid future study the genome assembly has been annotated using the RAST web server, and methylation and motifs were detected using PacBio's BaseModifcation and motif detection protocol.

本研究从红桤木（Red Alder）土壤样本中意外分离培养得到一株戈登菌属（Gordonia）菌种。本研究发布该菌株的组装与注释基因组，以期为探究其在红桤木关联土壤群落中的功能，以及开展戈登菌属的比较基因组学研究提供支持。为便于后续研究，本基因组组装序列通过RAST在线服务器完成注释，并采用太平洋生物科学（PacBio）的碱基修饰与基序检测流程，对基因组的甲基化修饰与基序进行了识别。
