IGEM - Murphy Australia Oil Pty Ltd - Abrolhos Islands sediment samples

A total of 30 sediment samples were collected in the coastal waters surrounding the Houtman Abrolhos Islands.These samples were then sent to a chemical lab for further testing, specifically for their nutrient, chlorophyll and hydrocarbon parameters.Specific locations and target depths were reached using a van veen grab and petit ponar.The purpose of these samples were to obtain an accurate and representative baseline data set of the Abrolhos Islands.

本次研究在豪特曼阿布洛霍斯群岛（Houtman Abrolhos Islands）周边近岸海域共采集30份沉积物样品。随后将全部样品移送至化学实验室，针对营养盐、叶绿素与烃类参数开展专项检测。采样过程中，借助范维恩采泥器（Van Veen grab）与小型庞纳采泥器（Petit Ponar）精准抵达指定站位与目标采集深度。本批样品的采集目的为获取豪特曼阿布洛霍斯群岛精准且具代表性的基准数据集。
