We simulate the 2021 M8.2 Alaska earthquake using SeisSol (https://github.com/SeisSol/SeisSol) with the following input files:
parameters.par: file for all input parameters required by Seissol dynamic simulation
Fault friction parameter file 194_fault.yaml : yaml file describing the spatially variable on-fault parameters
3D material file 130_3Dmaterial.yaml : a yaml file describing the 3D material elastic properties
Initial stresses file alaska_stress_pore.yaml : yaml files describing the variations with depth of the normal and shear stresses
Alaska_eCS.yaml: effective confining stress that reflects lithostatic stress subtracting pore fluid pressure.
alaska_stress_bij.yaml: Orientation of optimal stress determined by focal mechanism, friction coefficient, stress ratio and fault cohesive strength.
210_nucleation.yaml: spheric overstressed nucleation used in the model.
surface receiver file offreceivers.dat : contains off-fault receivers for surface deformation comparison
Mesh file mesh8_f400_s3_ala: tetrahedral mesh file in the format of hdf5, which is created with package PUMGen (https://github.com/SeisSol/PUMGen) and software SKUA-GOCAD (https://pdgm.com/products/skua-gocad/).
