Whole-genome gene expression profiles of non-tumorous human lung tissues: GRNG set

We profiled genome-wide gene expression in non-tumorous human lung tissues. The overall goal of this project is to improve our molecular understanding of various lung diseases including lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Lung specimens were obtained from patients with a variety of lung diseases. After resection, tissue samples of the lobes or lungs not relevant for the diagnostic work-up were frozen and stored at -80C. RNAs were extracted and then hybridized to a single custom-made whole-genome human Affymetrix array.

本研究对非肿瘤性人类肺组织开展全基因组基因表达谱分析。本项目的核心目标是加深对包括肺癌、慢性阻塞性肺疾病（COPD）在内的多种肺部疾病的分子机制认知。肺标本采集自罹患多种肺部疾病的患者。手术切除后，与诊断评估无关的肺叶或肺组织样本经冷冻后保存于-80℃环境中。提取RNA后，将其与单张定制化全基因组人类Affymetrix基因芯片进行杂交实验。
