Replication data for: Supplying standardized ileal digestible lysine via soybean meal below estimated requirements for late gestating gilts does not negatively affect mammary development

Significant mammary development occurs in late gestation for sows. This project aimed to assess whether under-feeding protein (lysine) would negatively affect late-gestation mammary development of primiparous sows. The dataset contains the chemical composition of mammary parenchymal tissue and plasma amino acid concentrations on day 110 of gestation for primiparous sows fed a control or reduced-protein diets in late gestation.
