Mendelian Randomization study of circulating cytokine on the risk of psoriasis
收藏资源简介:
Objective To explore the causal effect of circulating cytokines on the risk of psoriasis by Mendelian randomization analysis. Methods Using Mendelian randomization analysis method to analyze circulating cytokines and genetic data of psoriasis. The causal effects were mainly evaluated by the P value, odds ratio and 95% confidence interval of IVW.Results The results showed that tumor necrosis factor β Elevated levels of cytokines such as (OR = 1.23,95% CI:1.11-1.36,P = 6.59E-05) and T cell surface glycoprotein CD5(OR = 1.24,95% CI:1.06-1.45,P = 0.008)are associated with an increased risk of psoriasis; The decrease in levels of cytokines such as C-X-C chemokine 5 (OR = 0.9,95% CI:0.85-0.97,P= 0.003)and interleukin-10(OR = 0.86,95% CI:0.76-0.98,P = 0.019)is associated with an increased risk of psoriasis. Conclusion There are potential causal effects between cytokines and psoriasis, and targeting specific inflammatory cytokines may have the potential to prevent the onset of psoriasis.
