Surface underway measurements of partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), sea surface salinity, temperature and other parameters obtained during the ship of opportunity (SOOP) M/S Trans Future-5 cruises in the Pacific Ocean in 2018 (NCEI Accession 0184886)

This dataset includes surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from M/S Trans Future 5 in the, North Pacific Ocean, Philippine Sea, Solomon Sea, South Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea from 2018-01-27 to 2019-02-16. These data include absolute humidity, air temperature, air-sea difference - partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), pCO2 - atmosphere, pCO2 - water, barometric pressure, relative humidity, sea surface salinity, sea surface temperature, wind direction and speed. The instruments used to collect these data include barometric pressure sensor, carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous CO2 measurement and thermosalinographs.

本数据集涵盖2018年1月27日至2019年2月16日期间，M/S Trans Future 5号船舶在北太平洋、菲律宾海、所罗门海、南太平洋及塔斯曼海采集的走航表层、化学、气象与物理观测数据。所采集的数据涵盖绝对湿度、气温、海-气二氧化碳分压（pCO2）差值、大气二氧化碳分压（pCO2_atm）、水体二氧化碳分压（pCO2_water）、气压、相对湿度、海表盐度、海表温度、风向与风速。用于采集上述数据的仪器包括气压传感器、二氧化碳（CO2）气体分析仪、用于自主二氧化碳测量的淋浴式舱室平衡器（shower head chamber equilibrator）以及热盐仪（thermosalinographs）。
