UV and heat indexes in Mantang Island, Riau Islands

The dataset included the UV and heat indexes, averaged at 10-minute intervals from raw of a 1-minute UV and Heat Index of Wireless Weather Station (WWS), recorded from September 6 to October 6, 2023, in Mantang Island (0.772485oN, 104.544927oE), Riau Islands, Indonesia. The UV index was observed from the WWS ultra-violet sensor. The heat index was computed directly by the equipment from Instant Outside Temperature and Instant Outside Relative Humidity using a formulation from Steadman (1979) modified by US NWS/NOAA and Davis Instruments to increase the range of use. The dataset consisted of 4321 rows of averaged data labeled DateTime (local time), UVIndex, and HeatIndex.

本数据集涵盖紫外线指数与热指数两类数据，其原始数据来自印度尼西亚廖内群岛满堂岛（0.772485°N，104.544927°E）处的无线气象站（Wireless Weather Station, WWS）所采集的1分钟分辨率紫外线与热指数原始记录，经10分钟平均后得到最终数据集，采集时段为2023年9月6日至2023年10月6日。其中紫外线指数通过该无线气象站的紫外线传感器实测获得；热指数则由设备直接基于即时室外气温与即时室外相对湿度，采用Steadman（1979）提出、经美国国家气象局/美国国家海洋和大气管理局（NWS/NOAA）与戴维斯仪器（Davis Instruments）修改以拓展适用范围的公式计算得到。本数据集共计包含4321条平均化处理后的数据，字段依次为DateTime（本地时间）、UVIndex（紫外线指数）与HeatIndex（热指数）。
