Burden of influenza-related pneumococcal infections for all simulated scenarios. Eight different values of interaction parameters were tested for each interaction mechanism (acquisition, transmission, and pathogenicity). Values in the table represent the influenza-induced excess numbers of pneumococcal infections and the associated percentages, presented with their 95% confidence intervals, per 100,000. Values are aggregated over the three different periods considered: whole epidemiological year, influenza season, and post-influenza season. (XLSX 16 kb)
