This dataset contains news headlines and associated metadata for FTSE 100 companies spanning January 1, 2019 to August 2019. It includes millisecond-precise Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) timestamps, and there is a significant discrepancy in the volume of news headlines between weekdays and weekends. Comprising a total of 969,753 news headlines, this dataset supports two core research tasks: news sentiment analysis and correlation analysis with market fluctuations.
