Genome-wide insights into whole gut microbiota of rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss fed plant proteins and camelina oil at differenttemperature regimens

a comprehensive genome-wide examination of the whole gut microbiota of rainbow trout fed different plant-based oil and protein sources under varying temperatures was conducted using state-of-the-art high-throughput sequencing techniques (shotgun and 16S rRNA sequences). This way, we were able to explore gut microbiota composition and metabolic potential from a taxonomic perspective.
