DFO-SABS: Plankton data collected during 1923 Strait of Belle Isle Expedition.

In the summer of 1923 an expedition was organized to investigate the waters of the Strait of Belle Isle and adjacent contributory waters. Hauls of plankton were made at various points, and some of these form the basis of two reports.

As part of a data recovery project information on species distribution contained in these reports was extracted and Darwin Core records created for submission to OBIS.

1923年夏季，一支科考队组建完成，旨在对贝尔岛海峡（Strait of Belle Isle）及其邻近汇入水域开展调查。研究人员在多个采样点位开展浮游生物拖网采样作业，其中部分采样资料构成了两份学术报告的核心依据。
作为数据抢救项目的组成部分，科研人员从上述两份报告中提取了物种分布相关信息，并创建了达尔文核心（Darwin Core）元数据记录，用于提交至全球海洋生物多样性信息系统（Ocean Biodiversity Information System，OBIS）。
