Talaromyces marneffei is a pathogenic fungus that can cause talaromycosis. Although many antifungal drugs have been used for the treatment of talaromycosis, the effects of genomic mutations of different T. marneffei strains on the susceptibilities of these antifungal drugs have not been fully studied. To reveal the association between genomic single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and susceptibility of T. marneffei, we sequenced the genomes of 15 clinical isolates of T. marneffei, and analyzed the association between their SNPs and susceptibilities to 5-fluorouracil, anidulafungin, posaconazole, voriconazole, fluconazole, caspofungin, amphotericin B, micafungin, and itraconazole.

马尔尼菲篮状菌(Talaromyces marneffei)是一种可引发马尔尼菲篮状菌病的致病性真菌。尽管目前已有多种抗真菌药物应用于马尔尼菲篮状菌病的治疗,但不同马尔尼菲篮状菌菌株的基因组突变对各类抗真菌药物药敏性的影响尚未得到充分研究。为阐明基因组单核苷酸多态性(single nucleotide polymorphisms, SNPs)与马尔尼菲篮状菌药敏性之间的关联,本研究对15株马尔尼菲篮状菌临床分离株的基因组进行了测序,并分析了其单核苷酸多态性与5-氟尿嘧啶、阿尼芬净、泊沙康唑、伏立康唑、氟康唑、卡泊芬净、两性霉素B、米卡芬净及伊曲康唑的药敏性之间的关联。
