OrNV Kluang was effectively discovered by our earlier study in oil palm plantations in Johor, Malaysia. The OrNV Kluang infection produced a serious infection of the CRB. In this investigation, the OrNV Kluang strain was employed. This work evaluated the impact of infected and uninfected OrNV on CRB larvae at the transcriptional level, as well as the response of CRB host cells to early OrNV infection, to determine the mode of action of the OrNV Kluang on CRB larvae.

我们此前在马来西亚柔佛州的油棕种植园研究中，成功发现了椰蛀犀金龟裸病毒（OrNV）Kluang毒株。该毒株侵染可引发椰蛀犀金龟（CRB）的严重感染。本研究选用OrNV Kluang毒株开展实验。为明确OrNV Kluang对CRB幼虫的作用机制，本研究从转录组层面评估了感染与未感染OrNV的样本对CRB幼虫的影响，并解析了CRB宿主细胞对OrNV早期侵染的应答反应。
