Quinella genome bins assembled from metagenome samples enriched for Quinella cells. gut metagenome

Samples containing high concentrations of Quinella cells were prepared from rumen samples. Metagenomes were generated and draft Quinella genomes were obtained. Quinella is an iconic uncultured rumen bacterium, and this sequencing project gives first insight into its metabolism and function.
