European forest morphology, mosaic and connectivity Corine Land Cover 1990-2000-2006

The forest morphology is measured with a set of 4 indicators derived from the Morphological Spatial Pattern Application (MSPA) of the GUIDOS software (Soille and Vogt, 2009) with a width of 1 pixel: Core, Edge, Linear, Islet. The forest mosaic is measured with a set of 3 indicators based on the forest spatial pattern and the composition in terms of agriculture, artificial and natural/semi-natural surfaces in the immediate surroundings (3x3 pixels): core natural, mixed natural, some natural. The forest connectivity is measured with the Root Probability of Connectivity (RPC) index that quantifies the landscape functional connectivity based on forest patch area, its spatial configuration, inter-patch distances, matrix permeability and specific dispersal capabilities of generic groups of forest-dwelling species. The assessment applies inter-patch Euclidian distances, assuming a homogeneous non-forested matrix, and 50% of dispersal probability at the 1 km distance for forest-dwelling species. RPC is dimensionless and ranges from 0 to 1. The area and the proportion of the all sets of indicators are reported for the forest cover extracted from Corine Land Cover at 100 m years 1990-2000-2006 (version 15, 08/2011), and aggregated per landscape units of 25 km by 25 km, per provinces (NUTS 2/3) and per country (NUTS 0).本数据集以4项指标表征森林形态特征，这些指标源自GUIDOS软件（Soille与Vogt，2009年）的形态空间格局分析（Morphological Spatial Pattern Application, MSPA），指标计算窗口宽度为1像素，具体包括核心区（Core）、边缘区（Edge）、线性廊道（Linear）与小岛斑块（Islet）。本数据集以3项指标表征森林镶嵌体特征，这些指标基于紧邻周边3×3像素范围内的森林空间格局，以及农业用地、人工地表与自然/半自然地表的组成结构，具体包括纯自然林（core natural）、混合自然林（mixed natural）与部分自然林（some natural）。本数据集采用连通性根概率指数（Root Probability of Connectivity, RPC）量化森林连通性，该指标基于森林斑块面积、空间配置格局、斑块间距离、基质渗透性以及森林栖息类群典型类群的特定扩散能力，对景观功能连通性进行评估。本次评估采用斑块间欧几里得距离，假设非森林基质为均质介质，并设定森林栖息类群在1千米距离处的扩散概率为50%。RPC指数为无量纲指标，取值范围介于0至1之间。本数据集统计了1990年、2000年、2006年三个年份、分辨率为100米的Corine土地覆盖（Corine Land Cover）数据（版本15，2011年8月发布）中提取的森林覆盖面积及其全部指标的占比，并按25千米×25千米景观单元、省份（NUTS 2/3级）以及国家（NUTS 0级）进行聚合统计。
