Bacteriophage resistant Enterococcus faecalis isolates

Enterococcus faecalis V583 was exposed to Sipho-phages VPE25 and VFW and phage resistant isolates were selected using a soft agar overlay method. Nine phage resistant isolates were sequenced using Illumia 100 bp SE sequencing. Polymorphisms were detected by mapping reads to the E. faecalis V583 reference genome (AE016830) and the V583 specific plasmids pTEF1 (AE016833), pTEF2 (AE016831) and pTEF3 (AE016832) using Geneious 6.0.6.

粪肠球菌（Enterococcus faecalis）V583被暴露于Sipho噬菌体（Sipho-phages）VPE25与VFW中，采用软琼脂覆盖法筛选得到9株噬菌体抗性分离菌株；随后利用Illumina（原文笔误为Illumia）100bp单端测序技术对上述分离株进行测序，通过将测序所得reads比对至粪肠球菌V583参考基因组（AE016830）及V583特异性质粒pTEF1（AE016833）、pTEF2（AE016831）与pTEF3（AE016832），并借助Geneious 6.0.6软件检测基因组多态性。
