NRS-5386 | Regional maps of New South Wales

Most of these maps were produced by the Department of Lands for the Premier's Department, Division of Reconstruction and Development. They show regional geological formations and mineral deposits; state forests and timber areas; generalised topography; regional and shire boundaries; water resources; amenities such as electricity and gas; and communications, eg. air routes, highway and railway systems. Homoclimatic maps of the New South Wales Forestry Commission are included in the series. Some of these copies bear later annotations, the most recent being 1962. They relate to various subjects such as land suitable for tobacco production under irrigation; Pindari dam site; and revisions of amenities and communications systems.
