Partial pressure of carbon dioxide, water temperature, salinity and other variables collected from surface underway observations during the R/V Oshoro Maru V cruises in the North Pacific Ocean, Japan and Alaska Coasts in 2023 (NCEI Accession 0304366)

This dataset includes surface underway chemical, meteorological and physical data collected during the R/V Oshoro Maru V cruises in the North Pacific Ocean, Japan and Alaska Coasts from 2023-02-16 to 2023-12-04. These data include measurements of sea surface temperature (SST), equilibrator temperature (TEQ), equilibrator pressure (PEQ), mole fraction of carbon dioxide (xCO2) in dry air at TEQ, pCO2 at TEQ (PCO2TEQ). The instruments used to collect these data include carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Tandem (bubble+mixer) type equilibrator for autonomous CO2 measurement.

本数据集涵盖2023年2月16日至2023年12月4日期间，在北太平洋、日本及阿拉斯加沿岸海域开展的“大沼丸”号（R/V Oshoro Maru）第V航次中采集的走航表层化学、气象与物理观测数据。本次采集的观测数据包含海水表层温度（sea surface temperature, SST）、平衡器温度（equilibrator temperature, TEQ）、平衡器压力（equilibrator pressure, PEQ）、平衡器温度下干燥空气中的二氧化碳摩尔分数（xCO₂），以及平衡器温度下的二氧化碳分压（PCO2TEQ）。本次观测所用仪器包括用于自主二氧化碳测量的二氧化碳（CO₂）气体分析仪，以及串联式（气泡+混合器）型平衡器。
