Sequencing results associated with the manuscript titled: History shapes regulatory and evolutionary responses to tigecycline in strains of Acinetobacter baumannii from the pre- and post-antibiotic eras by Alecia B. Rokes, Alfonso Santos-Lopez, and Vaughn S. Cooper. This project assessed the transcriptomes of two strains of A. baumannii, AB5075-UW and ATCC17978UN, to tigecycline stress. Populations of both strains were evolved in increasing concentrations of tigecycline and whole-genome sequencing was performed to determine genetic adaptations of resistance. Lastly, tigecycline-evolved population transcriptome sequencing was done in the presence and absence of tigecycline stress.
