Topics covered in this survey include whether respondent favours or opposes nuclear power stations in Australia; whether own opinion was affected by nuclear accident in Pennsylvania, USA; death sentences and gaol terms; suggestion to restructure school terms from 3 to 4 (effect on students and teachers, and whether it would provide incentive for tourist trade); euthanasia; continued surcharge on income taxes versus reduced government spending; whether there is much waste in Government spending; and, family versus the individual as basic income tax unit. Background variables include occupation of self and head of household, whether respondent assists employer on purchase decisions, marital status, education, age, sex, voting enrolment, vote intention, economic classification, gross income, and, phone ownership.
