Phytoremediation of As-contaminated soil by a hyperaccumulator Pteris vittata is promising and has received considerable attention in recent years. The rhizosphere of P. vittata grown in As-contaminated soil is assumed to be selectively enriched in microorganisms that are adapted to As-stressed condition and to the utilization of specific plant compounds. This study shed light on the poorly understood rhizosphere microbial communities of hyper accumulator Pteris vittata and how the bacterial communities changes in response to elevated As content.

利用超富集植物(hyperaccumulator)蜈蚣草(Pteris vittata)开展砷(As)污染土壤植物修复(Phytoremediation)的技术极具应用前景,近年来受到学界广泛关注。生长于砷污染土壤中的蜈蚣草根际(rhizosphere)被认为会选择性富集那些适应砷胁迫环境(As-stressed condition)、并能利用特定植物源化合物的微生物。本研究针对当前认知尚不充分的超富集植物蜈蚣草根际微生物群落,以及细菌群落随砷含量升高的响应变化规律展开了系统阐释。
