Atrial fibrillation (AF), which causes cardiogenic cerebral infarction, is the most common type of persistent arrhythmia, and its incidence increases with age. We performed a radial procedure using an RF ablation device to restore sinus rhythm (SR). Microarray analysis of the difference between the SR maintenance group (n=4) and the AF recurrence group (n=3) after Maze surgery was performed using FFPE samples of left atrial appendage.

心房颤动(Atrial fibrillation, AF)是引发心源性脑梗死的最常见持续性心律失常类型,其发病率随年龄增长而升高。本研究采用射频消融装置(RF ablation device)实施经桡入路手术以恢复窦性心律(SR);针对迷宫手术(Maze surgery)后的窦性心律维持组(n=4)与房颤复发组(n=3),研究人员利用左心耳的福尔马林固定石蜡包埋(FFPE)样本开展了基因芯片差异分析。
