Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania, Hobart, Australia Overview This dataset accompanies the study _“Turbulence and mixing in deep-water stratified tidal bottom boundary layers”_, which investigates the dynamics of the tidally-forced and thermally-stratified ocean bottom boundary layer (BBL) using large-eddy simulations (LES) performed with the **Diablo** computational fluid dynamics code. The simulations explore how stratification, tidal period, and bottom turbulence intensity control the structure and evolution of the bottom mixed layer (BML) and the overlying pycnocline.
