In our study, we conducted a mesocosm experiment to assess the impact of various concentrations of BDE-209 on the morphological and molecular diversity within benthic foraminiferal communities. Our results indicate that elevated levels of BDE-209 are detrimental, leading to a decrease in alpha diversity and significant alterations in the community's taxonomic structure.
