Assessing foraminiferal response to BDE-209 using eDNA metabarcoding

In our study, we conducted a mesocosm experiment to assess the impact of various concentrations of BDE-209 on the morphological and molecular diversity within benthic foraminiferal communities. Our results indicate that elevated levels of BDE-209 are detrimental, leading to a decrease in alpha diversity and significant alterations in the community's taxonomic structure.本研究开展了中宇宙实验（mesocosm experiment），以评估不同浓度的BDE-209（十溴二苯醚）对底栖有孔虫群落形态与分子多样性的影响。研究结果表明，BDE-209浓度升高具有毒害效应，会导致α多样性（alpha diversity）下降，并使群落的分类学结构发生显著改变。
