Data from the 2018-2019 crop establishment trial at Narraport, VIC. The trial compared the establishment of Canola 44Y89 at different densities, under a conventional cone seeder and under a precision seeder, and at two row spacings (a narrow row spacing of 22.9cm, and a wide row spacing of 30.5cm). The experiment was run under the UOA1803-009RTX GRDC project led by the University of Adelaide, with the experiment management and data collection handled locally in Narraport by the Birchip Cropping Group (BCG).Files:2018 Birchip Canola.xlsx, 2019 Birchip Canola.xlsxExperiment setup:The experiment was managed locally by the Birchip Cropping Group (BCG). The trial was organised as a split split plot with 6 treatments of target plant densities (15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 65 plants/m2), with two different row spacings (narrow 22.9cm row vs wide 30.5cm row), and two different seeders used (conventional cone seeder vs precision seeder). This design was embedded in a spatial grid with 16 rows (not including the two bordering buffer plots on either side), 6 ranges and 4 replicates, for 96 plots total. The variety used for these Narraport trials was Canola 44Y89. The trial randomisation differed between 2018 and 2019, but the experimental design stayed the same.Variables recorded:2018:establishment count (plants/m2), interplant distance (cm), seed bed moisture (%), NDVI, Anthesis dry matter (t/ha and also per-plant), yield (t/ha, and also corrected to 8% moisture), test weight (kg/hL), oil (%), protein (%), moisture (%).2019:establishment count (plants/m2), interplant distance (cm), NDVI, flowering biomass (t/ha), harvest biomass (t/ha), yield (t/ha), oil (%), test weight (kg/hL).Data collection and assessment:2018:The paddock was sown on 15/05/2018 with the cone seeder, and on 16/05/2018 with the precision seeder. Fertiliser and chemical application was applied between 15/05/2018 and 02/12/2018 according to the schedule included in the '2018 Birchip Canola.xlsx' spreadsheet. Date of emergence was 31/05/2018. Plant establishment was recorded six times between 31/05/2018 and 26/06/2018, counting emerged seedlings in 3m marks across two rows. Soil moisture probes were used to take 4 sets of measurements between 31/05/2018 and 15/06/2018 during the establishment. Interplant distances were measured by paddock survey on 09/07/2018. NDVI measurements were recorded 4 times between 26/06/2018 and 24/08/2018 using the handheld GreenSeeker. Biomass cuts were made at anthesis on 28/10/2018, with 2 cuts/plot minimum using a ruler and the dry mass recorded. Harvest and grain assessments were made on 08/12/2018, with the yield, test weight, oil, protein and moisture content recorded.2019:The '2019 Birchip Canola.xlsx' spreadsheet contains mostly just the recorded values for the variables measured during the second year of the experiment. NDVI were recorded 7 times between 11/06/2019 and 26/08/2019. The interplant distance (in cm), plant establishment, flowering biomass, harvest biomass, grain yield and oil content were recorded for the trial.
本数据集源自澳大利亚维多利亚州纳拉波特(Narraport)2018-2019年度作物出苗试验数据。本试验针对油菜品种Canola 44Y89,设置不同种植密度、两种播种设备(传统锥盘播种机与精密播种机)以及两种行距(窄行距22.9cm、宽行距30.5cm),对比其出苗表现。本试验由阿德莱德大学牵头,隶属于UOA1803-009RTX GRDC项目,试验管理与数据采集由伯奇普种植集团(Birchip Cropping Group, BCG)在纳拉波特本地完成。数据集文件:2018 Birchip Canola.xlsx、2019 Birchip Canola.xlsx。试验设计:本试验由伯奇普种植集团(BCG)负责本地管理。试验采用裂裂区试验设计,设置6个目标种植密度处理(15、25、35、45、55、65株/平方米)、两种行距(22.9cm窄行距与30.5cm宽行距)以及两种播种设备(传统锥盘播种机与精密播种机)。试验布局为空间网格:共16行试验小区(不含两侧各2个缓冲小区)、6列、4次重复,总计96个小区。本次纳拉波特试验所用品种为Canola 44Y89。2018与2019年度的试验随机化方案存在差异,但试验设计保持一致。记录变量:2018年度:出苗密度(株/平方米)、株间距离(cm)、苗床含水率(%)、归一化差异植被指数(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI)、开花期干物质(吨/公顷,同时记录单株干物质)、籽粒产量(吨/公顷,同时校正至含水率8%标准)、容重(kg/hL)、含油率(%)、粗蛋白含量(%)、籽粒含水率(%)。2019年度:出苗密度(株/平方米)、株间距离(cm)、NDVI、开花期生物量(吨/公顷)、收获期生物量(吨/公顷)、籽粒产量(吨/公顷)、含油率(%)、容重(kg/hL)。数据采集与评估:2018年度:试验田于2018年5月15日使用传统锥盘播种机播种,2018年5月16日使用精密播种机播种。肥料与农药施用按照"2018 Birchip Canola.xlsx"表格内的施肥施药方案,于2018年5月15日至2018年12月2日期间完成。作物出苗日期为2018年5月31日。2018年5月31日至6月26日期间,共6次记录出苗密度:每2行取3米样段计数出苗幼苗数。2018年5月31日至6月15日出苗期内,使用土壤水分传感器完成4次苗床含水率测定。2018年7月9日通过田间调查测定株间距离。2018年6月26日至8月24日期间,使用手持式GreenSeeker设备完成4次NDVI测定。2018年10月28日开花期进行生物量取样,每个小区至少取样2次,使用直尺测量后记录干物质重量。2018年12月8日完成收获与籽粒品质评估,记录籽粒产量、容重、含油率、粗蛋白含量及含水率。2019年度:"2019 Birchip Canola.xlsx"表格主要包含试验第二年度测定的各变量记录值。2019年6月11日至8月26日期间,共完成7次NDVI测定。本试验记录了株间距离(cm)、出苗密度、开花期生物量、收获期生物量、籽粒产量及含油率。
