Effect of salinity on cable bacteria species composition and diversity

To test the tolerance of Ca. Electrothrix and Ca. Electronema to changes in salinity, we artificially altered the salinity of sediments that host cable bacteria and evaluated variations in population structure.为探究候选电丝菌属（Candidatus Electrothrix）与候选电子线菌属（Candidatus Electronema）对盐度变化的耐受能力，我们人工调控了栖息有电缆细菌的沉积物的盐度，并评估了其种群结构的变化。
