Supporting data for: Comparative Effects of Non-Enzymatically and Enzymatically Processed Polygonum cuspidatum on Phytochemical Profiles, Growth Performance, Serum Biomarkers, and Fecal Microbiota in Weaned Liaodan Black Piglets

This dataset supports a 28-day animal-nutrition study in 200 weaned Liaodan Black piglets comparing non-enzymatically processed and enzymatically treated Polygonum cuspidatum at 3 and 6 g/kg. The archive contains phytochemical and feed-quality data, growth and health records, serum assay data, fecal short-chain fatty acid data, processed 16S rRNA gene data and metadata, traceability records, and analytical-method tables. Raw demultiplexed 16S FASTQ files are not included in this dataset. Animal procedures were approved by the Experimental Animal Welfare and Ethics Committee of Shenyang Agricultural University (Protocol No. SNLL25032002; approved on 20 March 2025).
