The data yield from 2-D PIV measurements taken in the tip gap region of a low-speed axial-flow fan flush mounted on a flat panel. About 3000 instantaneous velocity distributions (frames) in the meridional plane are provided together with the corresponding angular position in the rotor frame. The measurement domain is 70 mm x 95 mm large and contains 41x55 grid points. Each frame has been related to a 4-deg angular window within one rotor revolution, resulting in 90 windows for the whole rotor, that is 10 windows per blade passage. Up to 33 frames per window have been acquired. As the sampling frequency is low compared to the rotational frequency, the frames related to each operating condition may be considered statistically independent. Three different operating conditions have been investigated (design point at high and low speed, and free-discharge at high speed), resulting in three folders containing about 3000 csv files. Operating point, rotational speed, and bin are included in the file name. Each file is composed by lines containing axial and radial coordinates of a grid point, together with the correspondent axial and radial velocity components.

本数据集源自平齐安装于平板上的低速轴流风扇叶尖间隙区域开展的二维粒子图像测速(2-D PIV)测量。共提供子午面内约3000组瞬时速度分布(帧),以及转子坐标系下对应的角位置信息。测量区域尺寸为70 mm × 95 mm,包含41×55个网格节点。每帧对应转子旋转一周内的4°角窗口,整个转子共计90个角窗口,即每个叶道对应10个角窗口。每个角窗口最多可采集33帧数据。由于采样频率远低于旋转频率,对应同一工况的各帧数据可视为统计独立。本次研究共设置三种不同工况(高速与低速下的设计工况,以及高速自由排放工况),对应三个文件夹,内含约3000个CSV文件。文件名中包含工况、旋转转速及分箱(bin)信息。每个文件由多行数据组成,每行包含一个网格节点的轴向、径向坐标,以及对应的轴向、径向速度分量。
